How to use the Temperature Converter
- Enter the temperature value.
- Select the starting scale (e.g., Celsius).
- Select the target scale (e.g., Fahrenheit).
- Click Calculate.
Temperature conversion methodology
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32
°C = (°F − 32) × 5/9
K = °C + 273.15
Temperature conversion cannot use only a multiplication factor because Celsius and Fahrenheit include offsets.
Temperature conversion example
Value0
From UnitCelsius
To UnitFahrenheit

Notes
- Values below absolute zero (0 K, −273.15 °C, −459.67 °F) are rejected by the domain validator.
- Negative Celsius and Fahrenheit values are valid when above absolute zero.
- Intermediate values are not rounded.
